We were driving to Oakland, CA from Seattle and wanted an overnight place to stay for the trip. We booked this place online and LOVED it. You absolutely cannot beat the price. The owners have bought a vintage motel and upgraded it. It is very clean, has a great bed with nice bedding, free wifi, and a TV. What more can you want? Since ours was just an overnight stay we picked an economy room which was perfectly fine. The owner is nice, and very helpful. The place is just South of the town of Dunsmuir on the outskirts of town so very quiet. We drove into town for a nice dinner outside at the brew pub. We highly recommend this place!”

Don’t forget to get some local food “to-go” and go eat at the picnic tables by the river in the City Park. It’s a great way to cool off in the shade next to a cool flowing river in the summer!
