Guests often complete our comment cards, which we appreciate. We read and consider all of them. We can fix things we didn’t know about, consider serious, outrageous and even “cute” suggestions of all kinds, and allow ourselves a moment of pride in our work here at the Lodge.
We ask guests to tell us how they found Dunsmuir Lodge, if they slept well, and if our prices seem high, low, or fair. Although not all comments are positive, seriously dissatisfied remarks have been few. Here are samples of quips & quotes from those comment cards:

Beds
Our beds are a topic because they are unusual for a motel. They have been described as charming, elegant, perfect, or cozy …not motel like. Someone even said there was “too much lumber” in his room. He did return, however, so we think he actually liked it!
